Digital flag for laser tag

Capture the flag, reinvented. No more running with a pole: shoot the flag and your headband starts flashing to show you carry it. Get back to your own flag and shoot it to win the round, with fanfare. If you are hit on the way, you lose the flag and the fight starts again. In a most-flags game, the winner is decided at the end of the time.

Six more scenarios turn it into a player base, checkpoint or command post.

Design

• A big, tough body in high-viscosity impact-resistant plastic on an X-shaped stand that keeps it off the ground for easy cleaning.
• Bright lighting inside four polycarbonate poles shows status from any angle, even in the dark or bad weather.
• A top panel with buttons, display and 12 LEDs for hits, radiation or anomaly, sealed against rain and snow.

Technology

• An 8800 mAh lithium battery for at least 12 hours, rated from −30 to +50 °C.
• A 16-bit, 44 kHz speaker with a 3 W amplifier and studio-recorded sounds; adjustable volume.
• A 1.5-inch 128 x 128 OLED with a 160°+ viewing angle and no glare.
• A touch button under thick glass that reacts instantly and is rated for 600,000+ touches. It can also heal or refill ammo, depending on the scenario.

Fair and easy

• It only registers close-range shots, so you have to reach it; shooting from cover does nothing.
• Four tactile buttons for set-up.
• Works with every equipment generation, including 8th, 9th and earlier.
