An impact-resistant, high-viscosity polymer case with internal ribs, a ribbed outer shape and thick walls, so knocks do not hurt it.

Display and controls

• A bright OLED display, readable in sunlight, with text, numbers and animations.
• Seven colour icons, Health, Ammo, Anomaly, Radiation, Biohazard, Explosives and Team Colour, visible from far away.
• A tough, backlit main button; mode buttons recessed under the display.

Power and sound

• A 2.2 Ah Li+ battery for 12–24 hours; capped socket on the back; power button on the rear panel.
• A 3 W amplifier for rich, loud sound.
