M4 Gastat Original Series

Shotguns are rare in laser tag, and most players switch to a pistol or SMG indoors. But in a room a shotgun is king: it can handle three or four opponents at once, and two shots are usually enough to push a team out of a strong position.

GASTAT joins the SG-9000 WALTER as a second shotgun in the ORIGINAL series. It is an airsoft copy of the Italian Benelli M4, the shotgun used by the US Marine Corps and special forces in several countries.

Look and feel

• Aluminium-alloy barrel and chamber; impact-resistant plastic pump and grip with a textured surface.
• 2.1 kg and 65 cm long. It is front-heavy, so it is held with both hands.
• No stock, for free movement inside buildings.

Construction and electronics

• A special internal barrel with optics tuned for a realistic 40 m range; no external tube, so the look stays authentic.
• Only the charging jack, power lock and on/off indicator under the gun give it away as a tagger.
• The working bolt is kept for realism.
• Adjustable rear sight and front sight; no Picatinny rail for a collimator.
• Sling swivels included; the safety above the trigger works as normal.
• Reload by working the pump.
• 2.2 Ah Li-ion battery for up to 30 hours.
